STC offers Occupational Health and Safety (K3) training programs that meet national standards, which are essential for every workplace, whether indoors or outdoors. In the aspect of Occupational Health and Safety, fire extinguishers (APAR) are mandatory equipment that must be provided in every building to prevent fires that could endanger the safety of workers and the building’s assets. Awareness and skills are needed among workers, as well as their active involvement, so that fire hazards can be recognized, anticipated, and handled as early as possible.

STC conducts training on the use of Portable Fire Extinguishers (APAR) or... fire extinguisher. A Portable Fire Extinguisher (APAR) is a device used to extinguish fires or control small fires. APARs are generally cylinder-shaped and filled with high-pressure fire-extinguishing agents.

This training aims to provide understanding and knowledge about the use of Portable Fire Extinguishers (APAR). The training is divided into two sessions. The first session covers basic material about fire, types of fires, types and models of APAR, as well as how to use APAR—from storage, handling, to extinguishing fires with APAR. In the second session, all participants are given the opportunity to practice using APAR hands-on based on the theory provided in the first session.
