After completing a two-week training period, the excavator operator trainees took a written exam today (Friday, 17/2/2023). This exam was held after the students underwent face-to-face training, which included both theory and practical fieldwork. A total of 5 trainees participated in the exam, which was conducted in a closed setting in the STC classroom. During the exam, participants were not allowed to open books or use phones to access the internet. The exam process was supervised by STC staff member Berliana Mirino. The students were tested on the knowledge and skills they had acquired during the training. In other words, their understanding of both theoretical material and practical application in the field was assessed in this exam.

After taking the exam, the students were assigned to write a paper. However, each student was given a different topic, such as Occupational Health and Safety (K3) specifically in excavator operation, components and functions of an excavator, steps in operating an excavator, issues encountered during excavator operation, and daily reports on excavator operation. With these varied topics, students are required to thoroughly understand their assigned subject. The deadline for submitting the papers is February 27, 2022. The time given to the students is considered sufficient. This assignment also serves as the final task for the students of training center intake 8.
