The Acting Regent of Nduga Regency, Namia Gwijangge, S.Pd, M.Si, visited the Somatua Training Center (STC) today (March 11). During today’s visit, the Acting Regent of Nduga was accompanied by the Acting Regional Secretary of Nduga Regency, who had visited the day before.
This visit also served to strengthen the cooperation plan between the Nduga Regency Government and STC in order to develop human resources in Nduga Regency.


On the previous day, the Acting Regional Secretary of Nduga Regency, Papua Pegunungan Province, Ricky Johanes Kapelle, S.STP, visited STC (March 10) to explore a potential cooperation plan between the Nduga Regency Government and STC. The Acting Regional Secretary of Nduga was welcomed by the staff of the Somatua Foundation and STC.

The Acting Regent of Ndugama expressed great enthusiasm for the plan and reiterated that it should be followed up promptly.
He expressed hope that within the coming week, the plan would be further agreed upon and formalized in a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two parties. He acknowledged that this step taken by the Nduga Regency Government is a new strategy that is believed to be more effective in developing human resources.

In line with the Acting Regional Secretary’s views expressed during the discussion the day before, the Acting Regent of Nduga Regency is confident that this cooperation program will produce human resources capable of playing a more significant role in the development of Nduga Regency. Both Nduga government officials also inspected the STC training facilities on Jl. Cendrawasih, Timika,
"We have already prepared the funding. We must start immediately. We need to maintain close and continuous communication for the next steps," he concluded. (TimSTC).
