www.somatuatrainingcenter.com Mimika On Wednesday (May 31, 2023), Somatua Training Center once again received a visit from representatives of the Nduga Regency local government regarding STC’s preparations to welcome the youth human resources of Nduga Regency.
Maximus Tipagau, Director of STC, personally welcomed the delegation and explained that the Somatua Training Center (BLK) is ready to receive human resources from Nduga Regency for training. There are 14 programs offered that have successfully equipped many students with expert skills.
Maximus added, “Somatua Training Center is open to all Papuan youth who want to sharpen their skills to become skilled operators. We are ready to add more heavy equipment for students who want to undergo training here.”
The reason is that the STC he founded provides a significant impact for training students, who are Indigenous Papuans, helping them become skilled and reliable future workers—whether in Freeport companies, contractors, or other private sectors.
For your information, STC oversees several training programs, including K3 Safety, construction, mechanics, electrical, and heavy equipment operator training for excavators.
Not only does the training cover basic indoor theoretical material, but heavy equipment training is also conducted directly in the field.(TimSTC).
