Timika, January 7, 2024

In an effort to improve the quality of human resources in the field of mechanics, Somatua Training Center launched a mechanic training program at the beginning of 2025. The training officially began on Monday, January 6, 2025, and was attended by four participants.

Each participant is equipped with complete personal protective equipment to ensure safety throughout the training process. During the training, participants will not only receive theoretical instruction but will also engage in extensive hands-on practice in the field or workshop. This allows them to apply the knowledge they gain and develop the skills needed for their daily work as mechanics.

Agustinus Andikaputra, an experienced mechanic instructor, will guide the participants throughout the training process. The main focus of this training is to provide hands-on field experience, allowing participants to directly apply the theory they have learned.

“We want to ensure that participants not only gain theoretical knowledge but also the practical skills needed in the field,” said Agustinus. “With intensive training and guidance from experienced instructors, we are confident that the participants will become competent mechanics.”

The mechanic training organized by Somatua Training Center is a long-term investment to meet the demand for skilled workers in the mechanical field. By producing competent mechanics, Somatua Training Center contributes to improving the quality of the industry in Timika.
