Training students observing components of the Excavator PC 300

Five students from Somatua Training Center, consisting of four regular students and one refresher student, recently participated in an intensive observation session on the PC 300 excavator heavy equipment. This activity aims to equip the students with an in-depth understanding of the main components of the excavator as well as to train their ability to analyze common issues that often arise in this giant machine.

During the observation, the students carefully examined every detail of the excavator’s components, from the hydraulic system and engine to the structural parts. They were also given the opportunity to conduct direct physical inspections of these components. With guidance from experienced instructors, the students were encouraged to identify the function of each component and understand the interconnections between them.

“This observation is very important for the students, especially for those who are just beginning to learn about heavy equipment,” said [Yohanes Lembang], an instructor at Somatua Training Center. “By gaining a deep understanding of the excavator components, they will be better prepared to carry out maintenance and repairs in the future.”
