In an effort to enhance the competency of the local workforce, Somatua Training Center (STC) has once again launched a training program. On Monday, August 19, 2024, a total of 8 participants officially began the heavy equipment operator training. This one-month intensive training aims to produce skilled and job-ready heavy equipment operators.
The presence of Mr. Rahman, SE, Head of the Workforce Training & Productivity Division of Mimika Regency, further encouraged the participants and organizing committee. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of training programs like this in supporting development in Mimika Regency.
"This heavy equipment operator training is very strategic, considering the high demand for skilled labor in the mining and construction sectors. We hope the participants make the most of this opportunity," said Mr. Rahman.
