Timika, 8 Agustus 2024 – Somatua Training Center (STC) has once again achieved a milestone by successfully completing the heavy equipment excavator operator training program for four young men from Intan Jaya Regency. This collaboration with the Intan Jaya Regional Manpower Office (Disnaker) has yielded excellent results, with all four trainees mastering the skills needed to work in the mining sector.

The four fortunate participants are Meliun Jagani, Minus Lawiya, Akon Abugau, and Dais Wenda. They underwent an intensive two-month training program and successfully demonstrated excellent skills in operating heavy equipment excavators. As a form of appreciation for their achievement, all four participants have been awarded their graduation certificates in person.

The training closing ceremony was also attended by a representative from the Intan Jaya Regional Manpower Office (Disnaker), Mr. Jerry Diwitau S, IP., M.Sos. In his speech, Mr. Jerry expressed high appreciation for Somatua Training Center’s quality training program. He hopes that the trainees will make good use of the skills they have acquired to improve their own and their families’ welfare.

“We are very proud of the achievements of these trainees. This collaborative program with Somatua Training Center is one of our efforts to improve the quality of human resources in Intan Jaya Regency. We hope the participants can serve as role models for other young people to continue learning and developing themselves,” said Mr. Jerry.
