Four training students from Intan Jaya have reached a significant milestone in their journey to becoming heavy equipment operators. After undergoing two months of intensive training at the Somatua Training Center, these students have now mastered the operation of excavators, particularly in activities involving material handling. loading materials or lifting materials such as sand and rocks into trucks.

On the first day of practicing material lifting, the students’ enthusiasm was clearly felt. Although still somewhat stiff, Meliun Jagani, one of the students, is optimistic that with more practice, he will become more skilled. “This is my first day lifting material into the truck, so I’m still a bit stiff. But I’m confident I’ll be more agile in the coming days,” he said.
Comprehensive Training

During the two-month training, the students not only learned the basic theory of operating excavators but also engaged directly in field practice. They have successfully mastered various skills, such as leveling soil, creating drainage, and now, lifting materials. This comprehensive training aims to equip the students with the knowledge and skills needed to work professionally in the field.
