Somatua Training Center (STC) once again conducted a socialization event for its training program at SMK Amamapare Timika, Kampung Hiripau, Mimika Timur District. This is the fifth program organized by Somatua Training Center at SMK Amamapare on Friday, March 8, 2024.

This socialization aims to introduce Somatua Training Center’s training programs to the students of SMK Amamapare, especially the 12th-grade students who are about to graduate. Somatua Training Center’s training programs are designed to enhance students’ skills and knowledge to prepare them for entering the workforce.

The Principal of SMK Amamapare Timika, Herman Dumatubun, welcomed the Somatua Training Center program warmly. 'The program carried out by Somatua Training Center is very beneficial for the students, especially in vocational schools. This training program has a strong correlation between our school and this Training Center. We express our gratitude,' said Herman."

One of the 12th-grade students, Frederikus from Asmat, was also enthusiastic about the Somatua Training Center program. 'I would like to thank Somatua Training Center. I just found out that there is a Training Center like this with many job training programs. This activity is very beneficial for us, especially for 12th-grade students who will soon graduate. Who knows, we might be able to improve our skills at Somatua Training Center,' said Frederikus.
The training programs at Somatua Training Center are designed with a structured curriculum and experienced instructors. Somatua Training Center also provides comprehensive and modern training facilities."

Somatua Training Center and SMK Amamapare are committed to establishing a sustainable partnership aimed at improving the quality of education and training for students. This collaboration is expected to help SMK Amamapare students acquire the skills and knowledge needed to enter the workforce and become competent professionals.

It is important to note that SMK Amamapare is one of the private vocational schools in Mimika Regency that exempts students from all school fees. In other words, students at this school receive free education. The school offers three majors: Computer Network Engineering (TKJ), Light Vehicle Engineering (TKR), and Mining Geology (GP).(STC)
