A total of 12 students from Intake XVI at Somatua Training Center (STC) participated in an orientation class on K3 Safety held at Somatua Training Center. The class was directly guided by a professional instructor experienced in the field of K3 today, Thursday (February 22, 2024).
The material presented in this orientation class covered: an introduction to K3 Safety, the importance of K3 Safety in the workplace, types of workplace hazards, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), K3 Safety procedures in operating heavy equipment, and prevention and response actions for workplace accidents.
The students appeared enthusiastic and actively participated in the orientation class. They asked many questions and engaged in discussions with the instructor about various aspects of K3 Safety.
“This orientation class is very beneficial for us. We now have a better understanding of the importance of K3 Safety and how to work safely,” said one of the students.

“We hope the students can apply the knowledge and skills gained from this orientation class in their future workplaces,” said Suban, the K3 instructor at Somatua Training Center.
