The training has been ongoing for more than a week. Somatua Training Center (STC) welcomed the trainees on Friday (26/10/2023). They were personally accompanied by the Head of the Department of Manpower and Industry, along with the secretary, treasurer, and Head of the Manpower Training Division. The six trainees enrolled in the construction program, which will last for two months.

The trainees in the construction class have gone through several learning processes under the guidance of instructors, covering both theory and practical fieldwork.
Today, Tuesday (07/11/2023), the President Director of PT Mpaigelah visited the construction training class and observed the teaching and learning activities as the trainees received instruction from Abraham Marandof, the instructor of the STC construction training program.

“I, as the President Director of PT Mpaigelah, would like to express “I, as the President Director of PT Mpaigelah, would like to thank the Regional Government of Intan Jaya Regency, specifically the Department of Manpower and Industry, for entrusting us at the Somatua Foundation, through our Training Institution, to provide training for six students who were directly brought from Intan Jaya. We will do our best to educate these six trainees. Our hope for the future is that when they return to their region, they will be equipped with specialized skills in the field of construction,” expressed Aryati Nagapa on Tuesday (7/11/2023) while inspecting the trainees’ learning activities in Class B, one of the theory rooms on the second floor of STC.

The collaboration between STC and the Intan Jaya Regency Government was realized after extensive coordination between both parties. The implementation of training in wood and concrete construction serves as a gateway for future joint training programs between the two organizations.
