All employees of PT Mpaigelah, Yayasan Somatua, Somatua Training Center, and the workshop took part in a health screening conducted by the healthcare team from Puskesmas Timika Jaya on Tuesday (September 26, 2023).
A team of eight members from the community health service of Puskesmas Timika Jaya, consisting of seven healthcare workers and one doctor, conducted the screening. The health screening included measurements of body weight and height, waist circumference, blood pressure, and blood tests to check cholesterol, uric acid levels, as well as screenings for tuberculosis (TB) and leprosy.
"Thank you to the health service team from Puskesmas Timika Jaya for visiting our office. This time, we were able to have all employees undergo health checks without having to go to the Puskesmas. Health is a top priority. When we are all in good health, our work activities can run smoothly," said Aryati Nagapa, President Director of PT Mpaigelah.
The offices of PT Mpaigelah, Yayasan Somatua, STC, and the workshop are located within the service area of Puskesmas Timika Jaya. Employees received access to health services provided through government programs facilitated by the Puskesmas. Based on the screening results, employees had the opportunity to consult directly with a doctor and were given the necessary medications.(TimMGP)
