Somatua Training Center Ready to Launch the Eighth Training Intake

Somatua Training Center (STC) is once again conducting job training after completing the previous training period which took place from October to November last year. Entering 2023, STC has opened registration for the eighth training intake. This intake is the first batch of the year. Registration is open for two weeks, through both online and offline channels

There are 15 prospective participants who registered. Ten trainees were accepted, choosing several different training majors. There are four majors that will run training during this period, namely basic safety, backhoe loader operator, excavator operator, and mechanic.

After completing the registration and re-registration sessions, today (Tuesday, January 24, 2023), 10 prospective trainees received Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) distributed by the staff of Somatua Training Center. With this, the trainees are ready to begin training, which will start on Wednesday, January 25, 2023. Two majors will commence first in the opening of intake eight training, namely mechanic and basic safety.

Preparations carried out by STC not only involve administration and training equipment but also the instructors. STC has ensured that the instructors involved in intake 8 training are ready to deliver the material, both theory in the classroom and practical sessions in the field.
