Central Papua — After running since July 28, the General K3 (Occupational Health and Safety) Training attended by participants from Central Papua officially concluded today, August 14. The event served as an important moment to review the various materials participants had learned, focusing on presentations and discussions about the importance of workplace safety.

For nearly three weeks, participants took part in a series of learning sessions covering the fundamentals of K3, safe work procedures, and preventive measures to avoid workplace accidents. During the closing session, the atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm as participants delivered their presentations and shared insights on implementing K3 in their respective workplaces.

The training was delivered by Mr. Subana Simamora, an experienced K3 instructor, who emphasized that workplace safety is a shared responsibility and must become a culture in every work environment.
“Consistent implementation of K3 will protect workers and prevent company losses,” Subana said in his remarks.

With the conclusion of this training, participants are expected to become safety ambassadors in their workplaces and to spread awareness of the importance of K3 to colleagues and communities across Central Papua.(STC)
