Work activities or practical training of Somatua Training Center students in the continued toilet construction project at the STC area have reached the ceiling installation phase. This part of the work is now 95% complete. Meanwhile, today’s activities included floor smoothing (plastering), continuation of skirting installation at the base, and the installation of door frames made from light steel. These tasks have also reached 95% completion. The next step will be to cover the door frame structure with plywood.

The continued construction of the prayer room (mushola) has reached the ceiling installation phase, which is now followed by the painting of the installed ceiling. The construction of this prayer facility for Muslim students is reportedly 95% complete. Meanwhile, work on three other rooms—namely the meeting room, canteen, and smoking area—is still in progress, with wall painting ongoing in the meeting and canteen rooms. At the same time, training students are actively involved in the construction of the warehouse and staff dormitory buildings. This project has now entered the stage of casting columns for the second floor structure, with progress currently at 60% completion.

At a different location, behind the Mimika SP2 Government Housing Complex, training students are actively involved in the construction of facilities and infrastructure for the Vocational Training Center (BLK). The project has now entered the scaffolding installation phase. Scaffolding is being set up at the corners of the building in preparation for plastering the second-floor walls and installing the roof. The overall progress of this project has reached 72.36% completion.
