www.somatuatrainingcenter.com Timika, – A total of 13 employees from the Timika Water Treatment Plant (WTP) are currently undergoing training at Somatua Training Center. On the fourth day, the participants focused on English language lessons delivered by experienced instructor Rofin Daton in one of the classrooms at the Somatua Training Center building on Saturday, May 12, 2024.

In this era of globalization, English proficiency has become increasingly important, especially for workers across various sectors. English is the international language used in global communication, including in the workplace.

For the WTP employees, mastering English is not just an additional knowledge but a vital necessity. This is because many references and technical manuals related to WTP are written in English.

Having a good understanding of English will help them carry out their duties and responsibilities more effectively and efficiently. Additionally, English proficiency will open up opportunities for them to attend international training or seminars related to Water Treatment Plant technology and management, as many of the equipment manuals are in English.

Somatua Training Center understands the importance of English for Water Treatment Plant employees. Therefore, this training is specifically designed to equip them with the English knowledge and skills needed for their job.
