Central Papua— The heavy equipment operation training, facilitated by experienced instructor Nabot Wandadaya, is continuing intensively at the Somatua Foundation’s training area. The program covers two types of heavy machinery, namely… excavator and backhoe loader…with participants from two different regions enthusiastically taking part in every stage of the training.
Students from Intan Jaya Regency are focusing their training on… excavatorlearning basic to advanced techniques, including controlling the levers, adjusting digging depth, and accurately moving materials. Meanwhile, participants from Central Papua are undergoing training on backhoe loaderlearning to operate a combination of backhoe loader functions, including digging, lifting, and loading materials efficiently Loader on the front and backhoe at the back.
Currently, both groups have entered an important stage: moving materials from one side to the other. In this session, precision, coordination, and an understanding of the terrain are key. Nabot Wandadaya emphasized that these skills are the foundation before moving on to the next stage.

In addition to technical skills, the training also equips students with knowledge of workplace safety standards (safety procedures) applied in the mining and construction industries.
