Central Papua — A solemn atmosphere filled the Somatua Training Center (STC) on Friday, July 11, 2025, as all employees took part in the regular Friday worship service, a weekly obligation. This week’s service was led by Pastor Alex Isir, S.Th., who delivered a sermon based on Matthew 6:33: “Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”
In his message, Rev. Alex emphasized the importance of putting God first in life, especially amid the busyness of work and daily routines. He reminded everyone that nothing is more important than maintaining a personal relationship with God, as it is from Him that strength, wisdom, and direction in life come.

“Often, we become too busy chasing targets, work, or worldly matters that we forget to seek God first. Yet, if we seek God and His righteousness first, blessings and life’s needs will follow,” said Rev. Alex in his sermon.
The Friday service at STC is part of the company’s commitment to building the character and spiritual values of its employees. This activity serves not only as a moment to draw closer to God but also as a reminder that work and faith can go hand in hand.

The worship participants appeared to follow the service with full attention and enthusiasm. Several of them shared that the message from today’s sermon gave them renewed strength to carry out their responsibilities with a calmer heart and a greater focus on what truly matters.
Through this regular worship service, STC management hopes that all employees will grow not only professionally but also spiritually—making spiritual values the foundation for their daily lives and work. (STC)
