Timika, [March 7, 2025] – Somatua Training Center participated in the “Career Day & Education” event organized by SMAS YPPK Tiga Raja Timika. The event aimed to provide students with insights and inspiration about various career options and higher education opportunities after completing their secondary education.
This activity was attended by various educational institutions and well-known companies, including STIE Jembatan Bulan, Amamapare Polytechnic, and the Institute of Mining N
Emangkawi, Indosat, Bank Papua, the Public Relations Division of Timika Police Sector, and the Health Polytechnic of the Ministry of Health in Timika. Each participant provided information on educational opportunities, training programs, and career prospects available to students after graduation.
As a training institution focused on developing job-related skills, Somatua Training Center presented various details about the training programs they offer. A representative from Somatua Training Center emphasized the importance of both technical and non-technical skills in the workforce and explained how their programs can help school graduates prepare for entering the professional world.
The students who attended the event were highly enthusiastic during the Q&A sessions and discussions with the various participating institutions. They gained a deeper understanding of the different career options and educational pathways available to them.
Through the "Career Day & Education" event, it is hoped that students of SMAS YPPK Tiga Raja Timika will be better prepared to make informed decisions about their future after graduation.
