The Somatua Training Center team, under the leadership of the Somatua Foundation’s director, Maximus Tipagau, has been intensively coordinating preparations for the inauguration of the Somatua Training Center Vocational Training Center (BLK). The signing of the inauguration plaque by Vice President Ma’ruf Amin will take place at the Rimba Papua Hotel and will be broadcast via livestream to the STC location. Maximus Tipagau personally accompanies the staff and organizing team throughout the preparation process, focusing today on livestreaming arrangements. To ensure everything runs smoothly, Maximus has been coordinating closely with the Public Relations Bureau and the Communication and Information Office of Mimika Regency. Together, they are finalizing the setup and placement of equipment such as cameras, sound systems, and other technical necessities.
The Papua Gladiator is dedicating his time to give his very best for the Vice President of Indonesia, even if it’s through a livestream broadcast.
“This is an opportunity to demonstrate to the central government that STC truly trains and nurtures its students to acquire the skills needed in the workforce, especially for indigenous Papuans,” Maximus emphasized.
