Central Papua<\/em> <\/strong>\u2014 Eight training students from Intan Jaya Regency took part in a mechanical class led directly by Mr. Yohanes, an experienced instructor in heavy equipment maintenance and repair. This activity is an important part of a program aimed at enhancing the skills of young workers in Papua.<\/p>\n

In the training sessions, the students learned various technical subjects ranging from major repairs on engines, service engine procedures before and after repairs, to adjuster repair techniques for tightening components on heavy equipment. All materials were delivered through a combination of classroom theory and hands-on practice in the training workshop.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\u201cA mechanic must not only be skilled in making repairs, but also understand the proper work procedures to prevent further damage,\u201d said Mr. Yohanes in between lessons.<\/p>\n

The participants appeared enthusiastic as they handled work tools, disassembled engine components, and attentively listened to the instructor\u2019s explanations. They were also trained to work in compliance with occupational safety standards, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and conducting equipment inspections before use.<\/p>\n

One of the participants, Markus, said the training was highly beneficial. \u201cAt first, I didn\u2019t know how to adjust the tension on heavy equipment, but now I understand the steps. This will be very useful when I work on a project in the future,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
