After being officially launched by the Mimika Regional Government at the Horison-Diana Hotel on July 25, 2023, and followed by an observation visit to STC, the training program officially commenced today, August 1, 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" src=\"https:\/\/somatuatrainingcenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/WhatsApp-Image-2023-08-01-at-14.53.57-1-1024x576.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2813\" srcset=\"https:\/\/somatuatrainingcenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/WhatsApp-Image-2023-08-01-at-14.53.57-1-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/somatuatrainingcenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/WhatsApp-Image-2023-08-01-at-14.53.57-1-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/somatuatrainingcenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/WhatsApp-Image-2023-08-01-at-14.53.57-1-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/somatuatrainingcenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/WhatsApp-Image-2023-08-01-at-14.53.57-1.jpg 1280w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">STC received a total of 53 training participants, divided into two training programs. Forty participants enrolled in the excavator operator training, while the remaining thirteen joined the carpentry (wood construction) class. The training, scheduled to run for 20 working days, was officially opened by STC leader Maximus Tipagau, who is also the founder and director of the Somatua Foundation.\n\nIn his opening remarks, Maximus emphasized the importance of serious participation, encouraging all trainees to fully engage so that the knowledge and experience they gain during the training can become valuable assets as they enter the professional workforce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/somatuatrainingcenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/mmmmmm-1-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2814\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the first day of the training, the STC team scheduled a safety induction session for all participants. After attending a simple opening ceremony held in the STC workshop yard, the trainees proceeded to the classroom to receive materials related to general safety and relevant regulations and legislation.\n\nSTC management planned for classroom activities to take place over three days before transitioning to field practice. In addition to workplace general safety, classroom materials also included an introduction to institutions affiliated with STC, such as the Somatua Foundation and PT Mpaigelah. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/somatuatrainingcenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/WhatsApp-Image-2023-08-01-at-14.58.25-1-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2815\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This training program is expected to continue in line with the commitment of STC and the Mimika Regional Government\u2014particularly the Department of Manpower and Transmigration (Disnakertrans)\u2014to contribute to the development of human resources in the land of Amungsa while also aiming to reduce the unemployment rate.<strong>(TIMSTC)<\/strong><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dinas Ketenagakerjaan dan Transmigrasi Kabupaten Mimika menunjuk Somatua Training Center (STC) sebagai salah satu Lembaga Pelatihan Kerja (LPK) yang menyelenggarakan pelatihan bagi calon pencari kerja OAP dan Labeti (Lahir besar di Timika) dengan sumber biaya dari dana Otsus.
