Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, Ma\u2019ruf Amin, officially inaugurated Somatua Training Center as a Work Training Center (Balai Latihan Kerja) in Central Papua Province on Wednesday (November 30, 2022) by signing a plaque at the Rimba Papua Hotel in Timika. The inauguration was broadcast virtually and witnessed by training participants and invited guests at the STC building on Cenderawasih Street KM 3.5, Timika.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The inauguration received a very positive response from both the government and the community. Somatua Training Center has gained support not only from the Central and Regional Governments but also from private institutions and the people of Papua. This is evident from the congratulatory messages from various parties and guests who attended and watched the inauguration via livestream at the Somatua Training Center building. Congratulations were conveyed through flower arrangements, direct messages to the leadership, and social media.
One of the congratulatory messages for this inauguration came from Samuel Tabuni, founder of the International University of Papua (IUP) and the Maga Edukasi Papua Foundation (YMEP). It is known that he is also actively involved in the field of education with the same vision and mission\u2014to advance the human resources of Papua\u2019s young generation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
