In their brief meeting, they discussed strategies for developing Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the regions by leveraging local potentials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/somatuatrainingcenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/WhatsApp-Image-2022-11-21-at-4.39.16-PM-1-1.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2517\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>They agreed that regional potential must be developed, especially through the MSME scheme, to provide economic value to local resources while opening up business opportunities on a small and medium scale for local entrepreneurs. One of Papua\u2019s local potentials is the noken and Papua batik, which can be designed by combining traditional and modern touches to increase the economic value of the crafted products.<br>On the same occasion, Suriani Surbakti, advisor of Somatua Training Center, also presented a souvenir to Minister of Manpower Ida Fauziyah\u2014a small bag made from batik fabric.
