This program is the seventh and final intake for 2022. The training programs for intake 7 consist of welding and excavator operator courses.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/somatuatrainingcenter.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/IMG_20221018_135128-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"2560\" height=\"1373\" \/><br \/>Today\u2019s first meeting was divided into two parts. In the morning, a theory class was held for participants enrolled in the welding program. The material covered in this first theory session included an introduction to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), safety related to welding practice, and several types of welding used in the workplace. There were two participants in this program. With a limited number of students, the instructor was able to give more focused attention and better assist the students in understanding the material, which would later be applied during the practical session.<br \/>\u201cBefore we begin the practical work, we must understand and follow the work procedures, where personal protective equipment is very important. Safety and occupational health must always be maintained. Before starting the welding practice, we also need to know the types of welding. There are SMAW, GMAW, and others,\u201d emphasized Riky Yandeday, welding instructor at Somatua Training Center.<br \/>In the afternoon, the theory class was held for the excavator operator training participants. According to registration data, there are three participants guided by Yohanes Sapan Lembang, the excavator operator instructor. The material delivered in this initial meeting covered an overview of the theory and practical skills to be learned during the training, as well as safety related to heavy equipment operation.
