PIPE FITTER
Pipe fitter is an iportant profession in oil and gas industries or other industries that include pipe in their projects. A pipe fitter competency comprises the ability to perform measuring, cutting, adjusting, steel plate splicing, installing valve, fitting, etc. Somatua Training Center also pays special attention to this training program. Apprentices who graduate from this training program are competent in performing pipe installation works based on applicable standards. This training program is one of new programs offered in Somatua Training Center.

- Implementing Occupational Safety and Health
- Using Piping Work Equipment and/or Types of Materials and Steel
- Applying Piping Calculation Basics
- Applying the Basics of Pipe Fitting and/or Fitting Adjustment with Pipes
- Reading and Calculating Pipe Spool Sizes on Isometric Drawings
- Cutting Metal Using a cutting tool/flame cutting torch
- Pipe Assembling/Fabrication
- Evaluating Work Results
